The Lich is a boss monster in Dragon's Dogma 2 (DD2). Read on and learn the Lich’s locations, all Lich weaknesses, as well as the drops and rewards when you beat the Lich!
There is a Lich located in the Crumbling Ruins, south of Checkpoint Rest Town. Take the main road directly south of the town until you reach the ruins on the left side of the trail.

You can find a Lich in the Waterfall Cave, located east of the Borderwatch Outpost. You will have to venture deep in the cave until you reach the 2nd floor. Afterward, you'll have to open a chest in the Alchemy Room to summon it.
Liches are the late-game variants of Wights, where the main difference between the two is a few variations of their spells and different damage output. These undead prove a challenge, but Liches are encountered later in the game!

The Lich will be completely stationary and vulnerable while it is channeling its summoning spell. Use this opportunity to attack it with your powerful weapon skills to deal damage to it. If you do enough damage, it will get knocked down and the summoning spell will be cancelled.
You can tell when it's using the summoning spell once you see purple flames emitting out of it.
If by any chance you failed to prevent the Lich's summoning spell, be sure to prioritize defeating the summoned enemies first, as they can be quite a nuisance with all of them attacking you at the same time during the fight.
Once the Lich launches purple or white magic missiles at you, you can hide behind pillars, rocks, and other structures around the ruins or cave to avoid getting hit by them.
