What are Debilitations?

Negative Status Effects

Dragon

Debilitiations are temporary status conditions that can be inflicted on the Arisen, Pawns, and enemies and will impose negative side effects once affected by it.

They are caused by several factors, usually environmental such as falling into water, or when attacked by enemies with fire or poison in their weapons.

There are also some enemies with abilities that can make you fall asleep or completely silence you, preventing you from incanting spells.

Some Armor Provide Debilitation Resistances

Dragon

The effects and chances of catching Debilitations can be reduced by equipping armor that provides Debilitation Resistance.

The higher the Debilitation Resistance, the higher your protection from certain debilitations. The Epiphanic Waistguard is one such armor piece for Sorcerers that protect from multiple debilitations.
