How to Start Ordeals of a New Recruit

Talk to Phill in Borderwatch Outpost

Dragon

Phill approaches you near the southern gate of the Borderwatch Outpost, and requests your aid to rescue Accardo. Accepting his request will start the quest.

Note that this is a time-sensitive quest! Failing to complete the objectives immediately may result in failure.

The Ordeals of a New Recruit starts at the Borderwatch Outpost in Northern Vermund.

How to Complete Ordeals of a New Recruit

  1. Find and Aid Accardo
  2. Return to the Borderwatch Outpost

Find and Aid Accardo

Dragon

Accardo can be found just a little bit south of the Borderwatch Outpost. Rescue him by defeating the flock of harpies attacking him.

Return to the Borderwatch Outpost

Dragon

After saving Accardo, return to the Borderwatch Outpost and report back to Phill. He'll reward you for helping out Accardo, and this will complete the quest.
