Dwarven Smithing Benefits

Increased Knockdown Power and Resistance

Dwarven Smithing Style
Pros
++ Knockdown Power
++ Knockdown Resistance
+ *Strength
+ *Magick
Cons
+ Weight Carried

*Strength or Magick will increase depending on the weapon (if raw, magickal, or both).

In exchange for a weight increase, Dwarven Smithing is the best choice for increasing Knockdown Power and Knockdown Resistance, both of which are helpful against tough enemies. This works best for high knockdown power weapons such as Hammers.

Knockdown Power will make it easier to immobilize enemies and give openings for finishing blows, and Knockdown Resistance will ensure that you are not stunned by multiple attacks.
