In-Game Location

Exclamation Marks will pop up on your mini-map whenever a Pawn discovers something that's worth investigating in the environment, like a hidden area filled with useful resources or a ladder that leads to a secret room with a chest inside.

Looking into these areas marked with an Exclamation Mark is definitely worth it as you may have a chance to get a hold on some new weaponry and other items that can aid you in combat.

In our playthrough, our Pawn managed to discover a cave blocked by a large boulder, which eventually led to a field filled with Harspud, a consumable fruit that recovers a small amount of stamina. Another instance would be a discovery of a ladder in Melve which led us to a chest containing a Fluted Bow.
