Legacy Walkthrough and Rewards

How to Start Legacy

Reach the Top of Moonglint Tower

Legacy automatically starts as soon as you reach the top on Moonglint Tower which you need to go to at the conclusion of The Guardian Gigantus main quest.

How to Complete Legacy

1. Defeat the Imposter
2. Face the Dragon
3. Attack and Defeat the Dragon
4. Speak to the Pathfinder During the Credits
5. Wield the Godsbane Blade

Defeat the Imposter

The Pawns guarding the impostor's ritual consist of different vocations, ranging from Starter to Advanced vocations. Defeat them to proceed.

A cutscene will play out after defeating the other Pawns and will reveal the Dragon that stole your heart in the beginning.

Face the Dragon

Once the cutscene ends, the Dragon will offer you a choice: to either sacrifice your beloved in exchange for a seat in power or fight the Dragon

Attack and Defeat the Dragon

If you wish to fight the Dragon, simply attack it, and this will interpret with you accepting the Dragon's challenge. The Dragon will then carry you on its back to the battlefield, where the final battle will commence.

Once you're on the battlefield, your Pawns will return to your side to fight the Dragon. Focus on the Dragon's heart to deal the most damage, as the heart is its weakest point. While the Dragon is airborne, you can mount ballistas scattered across the battlefield and fire bolts to deal damage to it.

Speak to the Pathfinder During the Credits

Defeating the Dragon will trigger a cutscene of you taking a seat on the throne. Once you're able to move, talk to the Pathfinder, easily recognized as he's the only one glowing, located just beside the throne.

The Pathfinder will send you back to the point where you're on the Dragon's back, about to ride towards the battlefield to battle the Dragon.

Wield the Godsbane Blade

From the Dragon's back, descend all the way down to its chest. Once you're there, open your inventory and find the Empowered Godsbane Blade. Choose Use among the options, and press the button corresponding to the Use on Self command.

This will start another cutscene showing both you and the Dragon falling from the sky towards the sea. The Pathfinder then shows you the consequences of your actions, bringing you back to your world, now desolate and barren as if chaos had walked the land.

All Other Choices and Endings

Sacrifice your Beloved

You can walk away from the Dragon, prompting a choice where you agree to sacrifice your beloved in exchange for wealth and power. This will end with a cutscene of you taking a seat on the throne, looking all hopeless and grim.

Not Interacting with the Pathfinder

During the celebration of you taking the throne as its rightful heir, you can opt not to interact with the Pathfinder within the throne room and just let the credits roll.
