Ice Damage is one of the elemental damage in Dragon's Dogma 2 (DD2). Learn how to attack with Ice Damage and see all the monsters that are weak against ice!

How to Deal Ice Damage

Use Ice Spells or Weapon Skills

Base Upgraded
Hagol → High Hagol
Frigor → High Frigor
Frostseeker Bolt → Frosthunter Bolt
Hailstone Bolt → Arctic Bolt

You can deal ice damage using offensive Ice Spells or Weapon Skills. Note that these spells and Weapons Skills are not universal and only available to certain Vocations.

Infuse Weapons with Ice Boon or Affinity

Base Upgraded
Ice Boon → Ice Affinity

You can infuse your weapon with ice if you use the Ice Boon and Ice Affinity spells or weapon skills. These are only available to Mages, so you will need to change into one or hire a pawn with those skills to do that.

Use Ice-Infused Weapons

DragonAlmace DragonFrosted Edges DragonFrigid Finger
DragonSiocadh DragonRhewynt

Weapons already infused with ice, like Frosted Edges and Frigid Finger, can also inflict ice damage on the enemies. You can obtain those weapons and use them if you want to deal damage using ice.

Note that you may need to change your Vocation to use those weapons!
