Beren's Final Lesson can be taken after completing the quest Claw Them Into Shape. Proceed to Moonglow Garden and meet with Beren.
The quest is automatically starts once you approach Beren and the cutscene plays.

Beren's Final Lesson begins at the Moonglow Garden, located in Northern Vermund.
The Cyclops might be a daunting foe, but you'll be fighting it with the help of your Pawns and Beren and his charges. Exploit the Cyclops' weaknesses, and the Cyclops will topple and fall in no time.

Make camp at the nearby campfire to pass a day's worth of time before returning to Belen in the same place. He'll reward you with 4,500 Gold and the Lifetaker greatsword.
