How to Get to Vernworth
Vernworth, the capital city of Vermund, is located south of the town of Melve. You can easily travel to Vernworth by following the main quest In Dragon's Wake and riding the oxcart parked beside the Riftstone of Robustness around the halfway point to the city.
If you wish to walk to Vernworth on foot, follow the main path indicated above to reach the capital. The trip will be long and arduous, so make sure to bring along a camping kit to recover HP at campsites every now and then.

Unlock Oxcart Travel After Reaching Vernworth
After arriving at Vernworth, Oxcart fast travel will be unlocked, which allows you to fast travel to set locations. The Oxcart Stations in Vernworth allow fast travel back to Melve and to a new town called Checkpoint Rest Town.

Activate Portcrystal
Before anything else, make sure you activate the Portcrystal in Vernworth. Doing so will allow you to teleport back to Vernworth from anywhere in the world using a Ferrystone.

Advanced Vocations heavily focus on their intended roles, with the Warrior vocation focusing more on melee attacks, while the Sorcerer receives more powerful spells.
Advanced Vocations can be unlocked by completing the Vocation Frustration side quest or the Feast of Deception main quest.
