Feast of Deception Walkthrough and Rewards

Acquire Courtly Attire
You'll need to acquire the Courtly Breeches and Courtly Tunic from two separate rooms on the second floor of the sleeping quarters.
These two items constitute the suitable raiment for a formal dress.
Acquired from Completing The Ornate Box
You can also receive both the Courtly Breeches and Courtly Tunic from Sven after completing The Ornate Box quest.
Sven rewards you with the attire regardless of your choice during the quest, so check your storage if you already have them stored away.
Complete Other Quests Before Proceeding
Before proceeding with the coronation, it is recommended to complete any remaining quests in Vernworth, as some quests may fail or become unavailable afterward.
One optional quest to complete beforehand is The Arisen’s Shadow, which becomes available after completing Monster Culling.
What to Do Before the Coronation
Speak to Captain Brant
Equip the Courtly Breeches and Tunic to dress formally, then speak to Captain Brant at the Stardrop Inn. He will ask if you are ready to attend the coronation.
Attend the Coronation
After telling Captain Brant you are ready, a cutscene will play as you attempt to attend the coronation. The attempt fails when your Pawn reacts to a strange presence, revealing that the False Sovran possesses a Godsway.
You will return to the Stardrop Inn with Captain Brant following the cutscene.
Return to Captain Brant
After returning to the inn, Captain Brant asks you to wait while he continues his investigation. Once time has passed, return to the Stardrop Inn at night and speak to Captain Brant again.
After speaking with Captain Brant, the quest will be completed and the next main quest will begin.
How to Start Feast of Deception
Talk to Captain Brant After Unsettling Encounter
You can start this quest as soon as you finish the An Unsettling Encounter main quest.
Report back to Captain Brant at the Stardrop Inn at night and speak with him to start the quest. If you cannot find Captain Brant, advance time until night, when he appears at the inn.
