Commonly Found in Bakbattahl

Quinces are common items you can get in the wilds of Bakbattahl. Look for small trees with yellow fruits hanging and loot them to get Quinces.

Dragons Dogma 2 - Quince Icon A quince that grows in abundance in the wilds of Battahl, rarely seen in Vermund. Consume it to recover a bit of Health.

Item Effect
Restores 80 HP

Your character will recover a small amount of health after consuming a Quince. You can also use it to craft other recovery items, like a Salubrious Draught, as long as you have other materials needed.

Can Turn into Ripened or Rotten Quince

Quince can turn into a Ripened Quince or a Rotten Quince as the time passes by. You can get a Ripened Quince 3 days after getting a Quince, while it becomes a Rotten Quince 2 more days later. Rotten Quince will apply Blighted Debilitation upon consumption.

Rotten Quinces can be used to make Lantern Oil if you don't want to waste them!

Used in Short-Sighted Ambition Quest

Quince, or specifically the Ripened Quince, is an item required for the Short-Sighted Ambition quest. You will need to get a Quince, ripen it by passing time, and deliver it to Isaac to progress.
