Jasper 800 G | *2800 G |

*Selling price is higher in regions where they are scarce.
Onyx is generally sold at 800 G to a Vendor and is known to be one of the best valuables to sell currently along with Tiger Eye and Jasper if you are in need of Gold.
When selling one of these valuables in a location where the jewel is scarce (as mentioned in its description), they will have an increased selling price. For the Onyx, you can earn 2400 G when sold in Vermund.
Find Vendors at armories, smithies, sundries and the like.
Vendors are usually found in settlements such as Melve or Vernworth. Vendors being nearby usually also indicate the presence of a nearby Inn for withdrawing and depositing items.
Do take care to avoid accidentally unsheathing your weapon as this can scare them away and prevent you from temporarily interacting with them.
The Onyx can serve as a gift to an NPC such as Ulrika to advance your romance progress with them. The kind of gift they like may be determined through their Likes in the NPC Logbook under the History menu.
For the Onyx, it is still yet to be determined under what Like category it falls under as a gift. Keep an eye out on character reactions and the logbook should you choose to start giving an Onyx to an NPC.
In the early game, Onyx are rare and may be found in chests in caves, shacks, or among goblins and bandits settlements in Vermund.
Pay attention when your Pawns communicate a spot for potential a potential chest or item. Pawns communicating a point of interest will appear on the minimap as an exclamation point. A chest icon can also appear if a Pawn spots one!
An Onyx can be found in a chest in Trevo Mine which is located west of Vernworth. Make sure to prepare before travelling since this mine will be occupied by goblins.
You will encounter this location when doing the quests Monster Culling and Vocation Frustration.

Players online may sometimes set a rare jewel as a reward for completing their Pawn's Quest.
While this is not always guaranteed due to the variety of player experience and needs, you may want to consider keeping an eye out on a Pawn with such a quest reward when you come across one.
