Evolved from the lizard family, the scaly saurians mostly dwell near water and wield spear-like weapons. Dismembering their tails can weaken them and make them lose their will to fight.

Saurians are quite resistant to attacks. However, they possess a huge weak point you can exploit – cutting their tails.
Severing a saurian's tail stuns them briefly and causes them to take drastically more damage.
Saurians are best fought with a Warrior or another melee class such, as a Fighter, in the party.
These classes can divert the Saurians' attention while you slice the tails or they can slice it themselves with powerful skills. Additionally, these vocations have moves that can easily pin Saurians down with an attack, making them vulnerable for a time.

Waterfall Cave is an optional cave east of Melve, which Saurians and its poisonous subspecies primarily inhabit. When entering this cave, prepare to fight powerful bosses and the poison debilitation.

Saurians are common monsters you will encounter regularly in the world.
Since their primary diet is composed of fish, they tend to be near bodies of water or other damp areas.
