Vocation Guilds, commonly found in inns, are used to change Vocations in Dragon's Dogma 2. Read on to learn how to change Vocations for Arisen and Main Pawn, where to find Vocation Guilds, and if there's a cost to changing vocations!

How to Change Vocations

Change Vocations at Vocation Guilds

You can change your Arisen and Main Pawn vocations by visiting Vocation Guilds. Vocation Guilds are found at or near Inns and this feature is given a tutorial during the Main Quest In Dragon's Wake.

To change vocations, interact with the Vocation Guild NPC and choosing the Vocation Guilds option. After that, you can select the Change Vocation option and choose your desired vocation.

Main Pawns Cannot Learn Hybrid Vocations

Main Pawns cannot learn Hybrid Vocations even though you can change their vocations. They will only be able to change to six (6) Vocations: Fighter, Archer, Thief, Mage, Warrior, and Sorcerer.

Unlock Different Vocations Later On

Dragon
During the earlier parts of the game, you can only swap between the four starter vocations. You will be able to unlock the Advanced and Hybrid vocations if you complete their respective prerequisites.

Where to Find Vocation Guilds

Appears In or Near Different Inns

Inn Map Icon Vocation Guild Map Icon

Vocation Guilds are often found in or near inns spread across the region. Inns can be found at most towns or Points of Interest, labeled by the bed icon on the map. You can also find unique Vocation-Maisters settled near these Vocation Guilds.

Different cities hold different Vocation Guilds and Maisters! However, there is still the off-chance these guilds are outside of an inn.

Each vocation has different prerequisites to unlock them. However, each vocation requires a set amount of Discipline Points to unlock them.

After spending the initial Discipline Points requirement, you can change into other previously unlocked vocations for free.
