Are Side Quests Worth Doing?
Worth Doing for Levels and Resources
Side quests usually players with XP and Gold. Some side quests may also give Dcp for learning Weapon Skills and changing Vocations.
It's definitely worth straying off the beaten path to complete side quests and get stronger by getting upgraded weapons and armor.
Numerous Side Quests Are Time Sensitive
Some side quests are affected by the passage of time and will progress or resolve without the player's involvement. Some side quests will have an hourglass icon signifying that it needs to be finished immediately, otherwise you'll fail the quest.
Make sure to take a look at your side quests before taking on new ones so you won't experience undesirable outcomes during your playthrough.
