Hunt for the Jadeite Orb Walkthrough and Choice Guide

How to Complete Hunt for the Jadeite Orb

1. Go to Ibrahim's Scrap Store
2. Request a Forgery from Ibrahim
3. Deliver the Genuine Jadeite Orb to Everard
4. Deliver the Fake Jadeite Orb to Offulve

Go to Ibrahim's Scrap Store

You can buy the Jadeite Orb for 7,500 Gold at the Scrap Store within Checkpoint Rest Town. We recommend holding onto the orb first before delivering it to either of the npcs.

You can Learn of the Location in Vernworth Gaol

You can also learn of the orb's location from the prisoner in the gaol in Vernworth. Talk to one of the inmates there for information about the Jadeite Orb for 500 Gold.

Note that this is an optional step since all you'll learn from the prisoner is the location, which you're already at when you start the quest.

Request a Forgery from Ibrahim

Within the same store, you can request the shopkeeper to create a forgery of the Jadeite Orb for 2,000 Gold. This way, you can fulfill both NPC's requests and get rewards from both.

You can sit at a nearby bench and choose to Doze Off to pass the time until the forgery is ready. Go back to the Scrap Store and receive the forgery.

How to Change the Time of Day

Deliver the Genuine Jadeite Orb to Everard

Give the genuine Jadeite Orb to Everard, as he will verify its authenticity. If he finds out you gave him the fake one, you'll get thrown in jail. If successful, Everard will give you 12000 Gold and the Ring of Skullduggery.

Bribe Ibrahim

If, for some reason, you gave Everard the fake Jadeite Orb, he will ask Ibrahim, the shopkeeper of the Scrap Store, to authenticate the orb.

You'll have a small window to bribe Ibrahim for 12,000 Gold to tell Everard that the orb you gave him is genuine. Failure to bribe Ibrahim will cause you to be thrown in jail.

How to Get Out of Jail

Deliver the Fake Jadeite to Offulve

Lastly, give the fake Jadeite Orb to Offulve. You'll receive 3,000 Gold and an Elite Camping Kit as rewards for helping him.

The most rewards you can get for this quest are 15,000 Gold, a Ring of Skullduggery, and an Elite Camping Kit, once you're successful in delivering the Jadeite Orbs to the NPCs who requested them.

Who Should You Give the Jadeite Orb to?

Give the Jadeite Orb to Everard

It's best to give the Real Jadeite Orb to Everard, because he'll give you 12,000 Gold and the Ring of Skullduggery. This will also allow you to give the fake Jadeite Orb to Offulve, who won't check its authenticity and will give you 3,000 Gold and an Elite Camping Kit.

In total, that's 15,000 Gold as the best possible outcome for the Jadeite Orb choice.

How to Start Hunt for the Jadeite Orb

Speak to Offulve and Everard in Checkpoint Rest Town

As soon as you enter Checkpoint Rest Town, Offulve will enter a conversation with you. He'll ask you to find the Jadeite Orb for him, and this marks the beginning of the quest.

As you explore the town, you'll also meet an NPC named Everard, who will mention that he's willing to pay handsomely for the Jadeite Orb.

Regardless of whom you start the quest with, you'll need to speak with both of them to get the full coverage and rewards of the quest.
