Talk to Ernesto in the Volcanic Island Camp

Go to Volcanic Island Camp

Use a Ferrystone and teleport to the new port crystal in Agamen Volcanic Island and make your way to the Volcanic Island Camp to speak with Ernesto to start the quest.

This quest becomes available after completing Halls of the First Dawn, which is one of the two starting post game quests available after arriving at the Unmoored World.

How to Complete The Importance of Aiding Ernesto

  1. Persuade Gautstafr and Cliodhna to Evacuate
  2. Convince Lamond
  3. Return to Ernesto

Persuade Gautstafr and Cliodhna to Evacuate

Evacuate Cliodhna

Speak with Gautstafr and Cliodhna and persuade them to evacuate with you, and you'll need to the defeat a dragon near the red beacon to persuade them.

Defeating the Dragon rewards 90 Wyrmslife Crystal as well as convincing the couple to finally leave the area. You'll then need to escort both to the camp.

Convince Lamond

Convince Lamond.
Speak with Ernesto and he'll ask you to convince Lamond as well who is located in the same spot in the original world.

Speak with Lamond and convince him to evacuate. He's easier to convince if you have previously completed The Sotted Sage and provided Lamond with Newt Liquer.

Return to Ernesto

Volcanic Island Evacuation

Return to Ernesto and he'll agree to evacuate the area, which also completes the quest.
