Though there is no announcement yet, a DLC for Dragon's Dogma 2 is likely to happen based on Capcom's DLC releases for the first game of the series, as well as their other IPs.
Several paid DLCs were already available during the launch of the first Dragon's Dogma game, with additional DLCs being added between the initial release date and within a year afterward.
An expanded version of the first game, titled Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen, was released for the next-gen consoles during that time (PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch) which included all of the DLCs available for the vanilla version of the game. A similar approach might also be taken for Dragon's Dogma 2 once all DLCs have been released.
It's possible that upcoming expansions for Dragon's Dogma 2 could introduce new locations, similar to the Bitterblack Isle expansion in the first game, which is a post-game area filled with new high-level monsters and extraordinary loot!
There is speculation that new vocations might be added in a DLC, hinted at by the Trickster's icon colors of purple and pink, which are not present in the other vocations' icon colors.

Similar to the first game, Dragon's Dogma 2 is likely to add weapon and armor packs as DLC, offering players new and unique weapons and armor upon purchase.
