Glimmercoal is a type of valuable farmed in the Digger's Ruins and is necessary to complete the Dulled Steel Cold Forge quest in Dragon's Dogma 2 (DD2). Learn how to get Glimmercole and know what to do with it!

Glimmercoal can be found in Digger's Ruins, southwest of Bakbattahl.
Glimmercoles are glowing lumps of coal that are pretty rare to find throughout the ruins unlike its counterpart, the Glymercole.
The fastest and the most efficient way to spot a Glimmercoal is by its luminescence. You can easily find Glimmercoals by turning off your lantern and going in the direction where a shining green light appears. This is most definitely a Glimmercoal.
Dulled Steel Cold Forge is a quest wherein you need to find 15 pieces of Glimmercoal to finish it. After collecting 15 of these coals, giving them to Sara will end the quest and will give you a reward of 12 000 G and 2800 XP.
Glimmercoals are rare, and you can only gather a limited amount at a time. However, this scarcity doesn't mean they won't reappear. The ruins replenish their stock of available ores daily, so be sure to revisit and keep hunting for Glimmercoals.
