New Game Feature Added in Update 1.05
Capcom released Update Ver. 1.05 on March 29, 2024, which added a long-requested feature that allows players to start a new game even if a save already exists. This addition made it easier to replay Dragon’s Dogma 2 without having to delete your existing save file manually.
New Casual Mode and Major Update Ver. 2.01
The Casual Mode introduced in Ver. 2.01 reduces inn fees for staying at an inn, lowers the price of Ferrystones, and makes it harder for the Arisen’s inventory to become “Heavy” or “Very Heavy.”
Players also expend less Stamina when dashing outside of battle, the loss gauge does not increase when selecting Load from Last Save after the Arisen dies, and Pawns recover from dragonsplague without a “devastating calamity” occurring, even if symptoms progress to a terminal stage.
Casual Mode can be toggled mid-game in the Options menu, but once active, players cannot switch back to Normal Mode. Some trophies and achievements are unavailable in this mode.

Dragon’s Dogma 2 was officially released on March 22, 2024, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (Steam). Players stepped into the world as the Arisen to slay the dragon that took their heart, alongside their trusted companions.
Demo Availability
A demo was released prior to launch, allowing players to experience the game approximately two weeks before the full release.

Pre-orders for both Standard and Deluxe editions were available ahead of release across all platforms.
Pre-order bonuses included exclusive in-game items to give players an early advantage.

Dragon's Dogma 2 is offered in two editions: Standard and Deluxe, in all available platforms and consoles!
The Standard Edition is priced at $69.99 for both physical and digital, while the Deluxe Edition is $79.99, and is only available digitally.
