A guide on how to get discipline points (DP) in Dragon's Dogma 2 (DD2). Gather discipline points by defeating hordes of enemies and completing side quests. Read on to learn how to get and farm discipline points, including information for its uses!
Naturally, you will gain discipline Points by defeating groups of enemies you find in the overworld. The more challenging the opponent, the higher the discipline Points rewarded.
Completing certain side quests rewards you with discipline points on completion. Most side quests will have you fight monsters, granting you additional discipline points!
All Quests and Unlock Conditions
Clearing enemy camps with easier enemies to slay will yield more DP earned in a period of time.
Bosses, such as a Gorechimera provides 210 DP when slain, while slaying Hobgoblins provide around 50-75 DP – making a camp of 10 Hobgoblins twice or three times more efficient when cleared in the same amount of time.
If you're planning to level up other Vocations to unlock better Augments, slaying enemy camps is the best way to farm DP for it.
Should You Level All Vocations?
Drabnir's Grotto is a maze-like ruin that connects Battahl to the Agamen Volcanic Island. This area has a dense concentration of enemies, including Goblins, species of Saurians, and a Cyclops boss.
The western area of the grotto is also a good spot, as it's a huge bandit camp full of easy enemies to slay.
The enemies in this area should respawn after two days so you can return and clear them again for more DP.
Vocation | Initial DP Cost |
---|---|
Starter | 100 DP |
Advanced | 150 DP |
Hybrid | 200 DP |
All vocations require you to spend a set amount of discipline points to unlock them. We recommend unlocking and ranking up the starter vocations first to get some essential augments!
Each vocation has their unique Weapon and Core skills that require discipline points to unlock. Managing what vocation to spend discipline points on first is crucial if you want specific augments for a vocation!
