Use the Thief Vocation to Rob Draconic Creatures

Bump and Lift Core Skill is Needed

Core Skill	Description
Bump and Lift	Skill Effect: Robs the target of an item when an attack connects. Activates when using Carve, but has a low success rate. Rank Unlocked: 3 DCP Cost: 400

The best method to farm Wyrmslife Crystals is to change to the Thief Vocation and unlock the Bump and Lift Core Skill. Make sure to equip a weak weapon as your aim is to steal as much items and not to defeat the boss.

Learn Either Pilfer or Plunder Weapon Skills

Pilfer Weapon Skill Effect
Allows the user to rob targets that have been knocked off balance and targets not in battle stance of a curative or other item. Can only rob larger targets while they are downed.

Another good thing to unlock for farming Wyrmslife Crystals is to learn the Weapon Skill Pilfer or Plunder. By knocking enemies off balance, you can steal more items on top of the ones you got from Bump and Lift.

Step-by-Step Process

How to Use the Thief to Farm Wyrmslife Crystals
1	Change your Vocation to "Thief" in town ▶︎ See how to change vocations here!
2	Choose a weapon with lower Strength that is different from the main weapon you use.
3	Proceed to the dragon you wish you grind your Wyrmslife Crystals from.
4	When fighting a dragon, switch youe weaker weapon to prolong the fight and get more Wyrmslife Crystals. ┗Note that you cannot change weapons in the middle of a battle, so be careful because if it is too weak, it will take too long to defeat it!
5	Keep using normal attacks. When the Dragon has been stunned, use either Pilfer or Plunder.

Grind up to 300 Wyrmslife Crystals per Hour!

Based on tests conducted by the team, you can take on the Dragon Final Boss with a Level 26 Thief with 400 Strength. If you lower your Strength, you will be able to collect more Wyrmslife Crystals, but it will take more time.

You can collect a total of 321 Wyrmslife Crystals (including the 100 dropped upon initial defeat) within an hour.

All Dragon Locations and Drake Weaknesses

Ancient Battleground

As soon as you enter the Ancient Battleground, you will see a Cyclops and Drake duking it out. The Cyclops will quickly fall, so position yourself on the ballista early while the Drake's distracted. You will get 10-15 Wyrmslife Crystals when you successfully kill the Drake!

How to Get to the Ballista

Rush straight to the castle, and you will encounter skeletons as soon as you enter. Make quick work of them, then make a sharp right and ascend the spiral stairs. Climb the ladder and you should see the ballista. If it gets destroyed, there is an extra ballista to your left!

Near Hill With a Big Tree

If you begin descending from the checkpoint, you will come upon a hill with a tree acting as its crown. A Drake is situated in this general area, meaning it will give you 10-15 Wyrmslife Crystals and respawn albeit taking a significant amount to respawn after defeating said beast.

Bridge of Theodacrus

A Drake can be seen near the Bridge of Theodacrus. From Harve Village, go north and take the first path left until you reach a bridge.

Do keep in mind that the dragon may fall to its death in the nearby river, preventing you from harvesting Wyrmslife Crystals from it, as the Brine may consume you once you step in the water.

As soon as you arrive at the ruins directly north of Harve Village, a Drake will land in the area. However, it will only spawn after completing the first half of the Scaly Invaders quest.

You can find a Drake deep within the forest just northwest of Nameless Village. There is a high probability that you will encounter it in this area while doing the Nameless Village quest.

Crevice in Battahl

A Drake can be seen lurking around the crevices of Battahl. Asps and Goblins will also be present in the area, so we highly recommend you deal with them first so that you can focus all your attention on the Drake afterward, without any other monsters jumping in on the fight.

North of Volcanic Island Camp

A Drake can be spotted along the shore, north of the Volcanic Island Camp. This may be one of the easiest encounters that you'll have with a Drake, as you will be fighting it on open flat ground with plenty of space for you to evade its attacks.

Drops From Draconic Creatures

Any draconic creature drops a randomized amount of Wyrmslife Crystals when defeated. You can farm Wyrmslife Crystals by encountering Lesser Dragons and Drakes in the region. This feat is easier said than done since facing these beasts proves difficult!

Attack Their Glowing Chest

For the most part, all draconic creatures will have a weak spot when their chest glows a bright red hue. Their hearts start to glow when they use their fire breath and spells, so look to position yourself close to their chest after they use this move.

Weak to Ice

In the early game, draconic creatures you encounter will generally have a weakness to Ice damage. If you are not a Mage or Sorcerer, have a pawn exploit this weakness!

Palladium	1	Conjures a cluster of magickal energy that blocks up to three attacks from targets. The cluster will also dissipate after a time.
Ice Boon	2	Enchants the caster’s weapon or that of a single ally with ice. The enchantment persists for a period of time.
Frigor	3	Conjures a giant pillar of ice that lingers for a period of time and can serve as a stepping stone. After the pillar is destroyed, grabbable blocks of ice will remain.
Celerity	4	Conjures a magickal sign that hastens the speed of allies within range. The effect persists for a period of time.

Your main pawn should cover ice weaknesses while supporting the party. Celerity provides you and your other pawns with increased speed, including casting time and attacks!

Avoid bringing other boons so your pawn will focus on only applying Ice to your weapons. Palladium is a reliable early-game protection spell that lets the party absorb three instances of damage.

Hagol	2	Summons a bone-chilling blizzard in the immediate vicinity that damages any targets it touches and inflicts them with frostbite.
Frigor	3	Conjures a giant pillar of ice that lingers for a period of time and can serve as a stepping stone. After the pillar is destroyed, grabbable blocks of ice will remain.

Get any Sorcerer Pawn that knows these two Ice spells. You can slot in any two weapon skills, but make sure that Frigor and Hagol are slotted in!

How to Unlock Sorcerer Vocation

Fighter

Airward Slash	1	Performs a jump while slashing diagonally upward. An effective means of assailing flying targets.
Shield Bash	1	Delivers a powerful blow with the shield that can knock targets off balance.
Shield Summons	2	Raps the shield loudly to attract the attention of nearby targets.
Gouging Skewer	4	Thrusts the blade into the target’s body before raining further blows upon them. If strikes connect, the user clings to larger targets and pins down smaller targets that are flinching.

Look for a Fighter with a straightforward inclination and Shield Summons to remove enemy aggro for you and your caster pawns. The Fighter vocation is quite versatile, but these are the recommended skills to cover its weaknesses.

Wyrmslife Crystals are material drops from any draconic creature as these materials are essentially their blood in crystallized form.

Wyrmslife Crystals are used as material for Wyrmfire Enhancement with the help of the Dragonforged. Wyrmfire Enhancement lets you fill a fourth enhancement slot when you have that equipment already maxed out!

Wyrmslife Crystals can be used as currency to buy special items from the Dragonforged. While Wyrmslife Crystals can be rare, purchasing some of his wares is worth it!

1. 3 Ferrystones = 3 Crystals each
2. 1 Portcrystal = 20 Crystals
3. 1 Unmaking Arrow = 10 Crystals

The Dragonforged refreshes and does not rotate their wares, meaning you can rest assured that you can buy the same wares despite leaving for days!
