Saint of the Slums Walkthrough and Location

Gather Miasmites for Elena

Dragon
Melina requests that you give her three Miasmites, which has medicinal properties and can be obtained by killing Phantoms at night.

Submit the materials to her, and she will ask you to follow her around The Gracious Hands.

Miasmite Location and How to Get

Speak with Lubomir

Inside The Gracious Hands, you'll encounter a sick patient named Lubomir. As soon as Lady Elena leaves, he will mention that something is wrong with the Gracious Hand.

Proceed outside to talk to another NPC named Lottie. She will tell you about a rumor regarding the basement sickroom. Return to Lubomir, and he will ask you to gather evidence for him.

Obtain Evidence in the Basement

Head down the building's basement, through the passage located in the western part of the building. Proceed until you reach the last room, past a doorway with drapes. Collect the Records of Treatment from the bookshelves and the Unlabeled Medicine from the table beside it.

Note that the basement sickroom door is locked during the day. Return once night comes to proceed through the basement door.

What to Do When the Basement Door is Locked

The basement sickroom door is unlocked during the night. Pass the time until nighttime to proceed to the basement and continue gathering evidence.

It will remain locked if the quest hasn't been started yet or if the quest hasn't progressed to the "Gather Evidence and Apprehend the Abbess" objective. This can be done after reporting back to Lubomir the rumor you heard from Lottie.

How to Tell Time of Day

Talk to Jehan and Bruno

Go to Walter's Tavern, just outside the Gracious Hand, and talk to Jehan and Bruno to gather more rumors.

Witness Elena's Suspicious Meeting

After talking with Jehan and Bruno, head west to The Common Quarter to trigger a cutscene showing Lady Elena meeting with a suspicious individual.

Return to Lubomir and show him the Unlabeled Medicine you found in the basement. He asks you to show it to the doctor in Checkpoint Rest Town.

Visit Doctor Radcliff in Checkpoint Rest Town

Travel to Checkpoint Rest Town and go to Radcliff's abode. Show Radcliff the Unlabeled Medicine to make him run some tests on it.

Come back to Radcliff after a day to hear his findings on the properties of the medicine.

How to Tell Time of Day

Apprehend Elena

Dragon
After gathering all the evidence of Elena's schemes, return to The Gracious Hand in Verworth and capture Elena. She can be found guarding a door in the basement. Approach and capture her using the Grab button.

You'll then be placed outside the Vernworth Castle Gaol Tower, where a guard will tell you that Elena has been apprehended and is being questioned. This marks the completion of the quest.

Speak with Lady Elena After Completing Heels of History

The Saint of the Slums can be started after completing The Heel of History quest. Head over to the front of The Gracious Hands, located in the slums of Vernworth, and you'll find an abbess named Lady Elena. Speak with her and offer to help with her troubles.
