Consume a Golden Trove Beetle

Dragon

Consuming a Golden Trove Beetle will increase your carry weight limit by 0.15 Kg. Golden Trove Beetles are found resting on or near tree trunks along dirt paths in the overworld.

Another thing worth mentioning is that consuming these beetles will also increase the carry weight of your main Pawn.

Equip Rings Obtained by Exchanging Seeker's Tokens

Exchange Seeker

Both the Ring of Triumph and Ring of Profusion will increase the wearer's max encumbrance when equipped. These rings can be obtained by exchanging Seeker's Tokens in guild halls or inns.

Wearing the Ring of Accrual will slightly increase your max carrying capacity. This ring can be purchased at Bjorn's Armory in Vernworth for 6,500G.

The Thew Augment is a passive buff that increases maximum carry weight. Characters with the Fighter Vocation can unlock this augment by raising their Vocation rank.

Carrying too much weight in your backpack will greatly impede your movement speed as noted by the overencumbered notation on your weight bar.

Consider selling your items or depositing some of your stuff at your storage to free up space in your bag.

Faster Stamina Drain

Dragon

Not only does having too much weight affect movement speed, but it also drains your stamina a lot quicker.
