Masked Correspondence is a side quest in Dragon's Dogma 2 (DD2). Read our walkthrough on how to start and complete Masked Correspondence side quest, as well as the rewards and unlock conditions.

You can start Masked Correspendence after completing the The Ornate Box side quest. Head to Sven's Chambers in Vernworth Castle and speak to Sven to start the quest.

The Masked Correspondence begins in Sven's Chambers in Vernworth Castle.
Sven will ask for your help delivering a letter to Lord Patrick, who will attend the masquerade ball in Vernworth Hall at night.
Similar to other quests, attending the masquerade requires you to wear Courtly Attire composed of the Courtly Tunic and Courtly Breeches. Also equip the Eventide Mask, which you can receive from Captain Brant during The Stolen Throne quest, to complete the outfit.
Feast of Deception Walkthrough
Sven rewards you with the Courtly Breeches and Courtly Tunic, regardless of your choice, during the quest The Ornate Box. Since this side quest is required to start Masked Correspondence, check your storage to see if you already have them stored away.
If you sold either or both clothing articles, you can purchase another set including the mask at Ibrahim's Scrap Store in Checkpoint Rest Town.
At the masquerade, look for a man wearing a black and gold mask that only covers his eyes. as well as a blue cape. This is Lord Partick, and he is the only male noble in the masquerade who isn't wearing a lion mask.
Deliver the letter to him and, he'll ask you to report back to Sven.
Make your way back to Sven's Chambers and report that you've successfully delivered the letter to Lord Patrick. After a short dialogue, the quest ends, and you'll receive your rewards.

Hi ! Just so you know, I couldn't find Sven near the merchants so I went to his room and he gave me the "Masked Correspondence" quest even though i have not done "The Ornate Box", not even received it ! :)
