Decent AOE Damage |
Mana Hungry |
With excellent mobility, high attack speed, and plenty of multi-hit attacks, this build is perfect for building up Thundercloud stacks and detonating them with Brutal Incision. Specializations allow this build to deal damage to multiple targets, allowing it to shred mobs and bosses alike with ease.

Strength | 17 | 0 | 7 |
Dexterity | 52 | 11 | 31 |
Wisdom | 50 | 22 | 18 |
Perception | 40 | 14 | 16 |

Focus on getting Dexterity and Wisdom to 50. This will increase the damage dealt by the skills, while providing much needed Mana and cooldown reduction. The rest of the points are used to increase Perception.

Multi-hit attacks are where this build really shines, so they are prioritised in this build. Skills such as Knife Throwing, Frenzied Sword Dance, and Merciless Barrage allow for multiple hits and are perfect for this build.
When levelling, level up Brutal Incision first, followed by Shadow Strike and Inject Venom. The build will come together as you level, so prioritize the most important DPS skills first as levelling progresses.
Passives are used to supplement the stacking of Thundercloud, along with significant damage boosts.

To complement this build, it is recommended to take two pieces of the Death Set for the critical damage increase and two pieces of the Ghost Wolf Set for the bonus damage.
The rest of the gear is tuned to achieve 50 Dexterity and 50 Wisdom, while increasing the duration of buffs and reducing cooldowns. This leaves points to spend on Strength for more survivability, or Perception for more hit and damage.

Assassination provides the most damage increase thanks to its passives, especially Deep Grudge and Madenning Excitement. The rest of the points go to the Poison tree for easy Thunder Cloud stacking, as well as other helpful passives along the way.
Maxing out the Chainfire tree is the best option, as all of it's passives contribute significantly to increasing DPS. The Move tree is also of great benefit, as it increases the chance of a Heavy Attack, so 6 points will be spent here.

Shade Revenant Stheno | Launches 5 projectiles at random enemies within a 10m range every second. A single enemy may be hit with multiple projectiles at the same time. Each projectile deals 52% of Base Damage. |
Shade Revenant Stheno is one of the best options for Guardians when it comes to boosting DPS, as it not only deals significant damage on its own, but also benefits from Mother Nature's Protest.

Begin the every encounter by using Inject Venom first, then apply the debuffs. Nimble Leap is used to trigger the damage increasing passives. Start stacking Thundercloud stacks via skills, then trigger them with Brutal Incision.
Keep in mind that Weak Point Shot provides a critical damage increase debuff on the target when it is applied when it's trying to do a Fury attack. Applying this consistently can lead to faster clear times!

No slouch in the mobbing department, this build can deal surprisingly respectable AOE damage in a short amount of time. Wait for the opportune moment when targets are tightly packed before unleashing all of the active skills.
Finish off any surviving targets with Brutal Incision.

Hello! First of all: I very much like the guide and the build! Thanks for the effort! i stumbeld upon a question if you care to answer it: After equipping the gear and putting the skillpoints in i noticed i get to 48 wisdom before i have to start investing 2 points for each wisdom upgrade. Wouldnt it be more efficient to get some wisdom on the necklace or ring? Or do you think the bonus from the necklace and ring in this guide are worth it so much that its better to "waste" two skillpoints?

Hello, thank you very much for taking time to check out our build! Upon first inspection, using an additional stat point should be avoided. However, in cases where the additional stats of the accessories are essential to the build but reaching a certain stat breakthrough is needed, it should be okay to sacrifice some skill points. We hope this answers your question, albeit a little late!
