A Manticore is Located Inside the Cavern

A Manticore is located within the central chamber of Riverside Cavern. While the monster doesn't drop anything notable apart from Freakish Mane, it's best to kill it since it can make it difficult to loo the chest with the greaves.

We recommend getting a Mage with Spellhold to prevent the Manticore from unleashing its powerful magick and restrict it to just melee attacks.

How to Get to Riverside Cavern

Dragon

Riverside Cavern is located north of Guerco Cavern and slightly south east of Misty Marshes. The closest town to the cave is Harve Village and is easy to reach by following the northwestern path from the town.

Though relatively small, this cavern has 2 entrances that are slightly obscured from the map and are reachable either from the riverside path north of the cave, or through a small cliff side cave on its western side.

The easiest way to get to Riverside Cavern is by heading to the main road directly north of the cavern and then hopping off the path to the riverside and following the path south to the cave.

There are two Harpies close to the cavern's northern entrance and just past them is a large cave opening that leads to the cavern's upper section that has Goblins.

The western entrance to the cave is slightly harder to reach since it requires you to clamber up some cliffs to reach the upper area of the main road west of the cavern.

There's a bridge leading to the smaller cavern entrance which will take you directly to the center of the cavern where the Manticore is located.
