The chest for Winter's Path in the 2nd floor is hidden behind a wall. Simply break it to get through and open the chest.
The Cinderspine is locate on a high elevation area, and cannot be reached by jumping. To get the Cinderspine, you will need to jump from a much higher area, reached by the route above.

Once you have received the quest The Guardian Gigantus and obtained the Godsbane by finishing A New Godsway, you can head to the Mountain Base Cave by traveling southeast of Bakbattahl and passing through the Volcanic Island Camp in Agamen.
If you choose to take this route, we recommend preparing for the rest of the trek ahead by resting at the Inn and restocking your healing items.
How to Get to Agamen Volcanic Island
If you have yet to finish A New Godsway, and have not obtained the Godsbane, you will need to travel southwest of Bakbattahl through Drabnir's Grotto.
This route is tougher, filled with many monsters on the way, so we recommend preparing and stocking up on healing items for the journey.
When proceeding with Steeled Resolve Blazing Forge, you will be tasked to head to Mountain Base Cave.
We recommend having this Side Quest Active when passing through this area for the first time.
