Update Ver. 1.05 Patch Notes

The Dragon's Dogma 2 title update Ver. 1.05 has become available on Friday, March 29. Below are the official patch notes from Capcom.

PlayStation 5 and Steam

• Adding the option to start a new game when save data already exists.
• Changing the number of Art of Metamorphosis items available at Pawn Guilds in the game to 99.
• Making the quest (A Place to Call Home) that allows players to acquire their own dwelling (house), where they can save and rest, available earlier in the game.
• Miscellaneous text display issues.
• Miscellaneous bug fixes.

PlayStation 5 Only

• Adding the option to switch Motion Blur on/off in Options.
• Adding the option to switch Ray Tracing on/off in Options.
• Adding the option to set Frame Rate at Max 30fps in Options.

Capcom has confirmed that these options “won't affect frame rate significantly.” Frame rate improvements are reportedly planned for future updates.

Steam Only

• Improving quality when DLSS SUPER RESOLUTION is enabled.
• Fixing an issue related to the display of models under some specific settings.

The title update patch notes confirms that Xbox Series X|S updates are “planned in the next few days.” The updates will most likely include the same patch notes as of the PlayStation 5's.
