had this happen i resurected sven and it worked again
have the same issue but for the quest Feast of Deception. Have u resolved your issue?
by the way I forgot to mention I'm playing on a ps5. I'm the mystic spearhand question guy.
I'm playing as a mystic spearhand and my arisen will not activate the winding cut core skill. No matter how fast I mash the button it just does the same original combo. Is this actually a bug or what. It's frustrating because that skill alone is a big reason why I chose this vocation.
So dragonplague hit the whole town of vermouth. Everyone was revived a day later but now the cutscene for main quest An Unsettling Encounter won’t trigger. I’ve gone back to Allards room every night for 7 in game days and it still won’t trigger. Ideas?
Encountering issues with freezing in certain sections--in an attempt to continue the Disa's Plot quest, the game freezes when I'm inside the palace. Have another friend stating the game freezes in Vernworth when trying to go to the Vocations Guild.
Hey i am continuing my findings, this is now day two. I took a screenshot while running around in game im sure most of you here are already familier with what it looks like but just in case here is a picture.
found a temporary fix that has been working for some and myself, especially if you have an AMD Radeon RX580. I will copy the solution I saw: i figured out a temporary fix atleast for my setup. Go to your games installation folder and find DD2.exe --> right click --> properties --> compatibility --> run this program in compatibility mode for windows 8. That fixed the issue for me atleast. I also Disabled fullscreen optimizations and ran the program as administrator but that is not required."
I’m having the same issue
Small update: By installing new graphics driver(I am using Geforce) I forced the game to recompile the shaders. By doing that I was able to let it run its course again with the textures to... A mostly sad outcome. Still is missing basically everything it was missing previously, however there is very slightly more loaded, although it seems to actively dissapear while the camera pans(just looking at the main menu). If anyone finds a fix please post it!
You can just lose the ability to use items in your inventory. I dont know why or what caused it, but I cant heal or use any (consumable) item in my inventory now.
Hey this is a continuation on myself. Before I posted this I had tested to make sure it was not any of the graphics/display options in game I tried every setting regarding those to no avail. I also have tried Closing the game, restarting my computer, verifying files, as well as completely reinstalling the game to no effect. I just now have installed newer drivers(my previous ones were barely out of date) restarting the PC and am re-verifying the files one more time.
having the same problem where parts of the landscape and floors are just invisible, would love to know what to do to fix this
I am having the same exact issues. Besides slow framerate, I am experiencing completely invisible floors, ceilings, ect. Only the NPC's PC, doors and torches are spawned in the playable start zone. As also mentioned the Title Screen is also shot and most of the textures are missing. Please help us find a fix nothing has worked thus far!
im also having something similar. None of my landscapes and Building don't load, including in the main menu. I have updated my Driver and have more than enough hardware to handle the game.
the floor is invisible sometimes and other times seems to be floating over me. or just random objects are in my vision but npc or I can go through them like they don't exxist. how do i fix this?
