The Platinum Fishing Rod is an upgraded fishing rod that will increase your Fishing Level by 3. This makes it easier for you to catch fishes that were previously difficult to reel in.

You'll be able to fish at most bodies of water in the game, just make sure you have both your Fishing Rod and Bait equipped.
