How to Start Tolled to Rest

Help Oskar Defeat the Monsters

Oskar is located along the road to the Ancient Battleground, northwest of Harve Village. Aid Oskar in defeating the enemies attacking him to start the quest.

  1. Escort Oskar to the Cenotaph
  2. Find the Grimoire

Dragon

Escort Oskar to his destination, while protecting him from monsters along the way. There seems to be an abundance of skeletons inside the cenotaph. Remember to also attack their skulls after defeating the main body!

Find the Grimoire

Dragon

Normally, the grimoire, Nation's Death Knell, is already placed near the bell, and Oskar rings the bell, ending the quest.

If you happened to enter this place during your past adventures and picked the grimoire up, you might want to check your inventory and storage to see if it's there. Submit the item to Oskar to complete the quest.

Note: This grimoire is required for the quests Spellbound and The Sorcerer's Appraisal. Get the grimoire as soon as you complete the quest!

Where to Use the Ancient Battleground Key

There is a locked door close to where Oskar rang the bell, where the Ancient Battleground Key is used to unlock it.

Inside, you will find two chests inside containing 2200 Gold, a Ferrystone, and an Infernal Edge.
