Since there are no Trial Characters available at Difficulty 5, you'll need to use the strongest character you currently have. As for the Echo choice, unless you're Union Level 40 and can ascend your characters to 70, you'll need the defensive prowess of Bell-Borne Geochelone to survive.

If you don't have anyone at a high enough level to take on Difficulty 5, we recommend upgrading Rover (Spectro) since their Ascension Materials aren't reliant on World Bosses and you'll only have to worry about upgrading their Weapon and Forte.

Best Metaphors

Concerto Characters

Character	Explanation
Verina First	・Verina is the only Concerto that can heal at the moment, making her near mandatory against high-level enemies. ・She's a Glacio Metaphor, which helps activate Bell-Borne Geochelone's abilities.
Sanhua Second	・Bell-Borne Geochelone's final ability upgrade requires 32 Glacio Metaphors, and getting Sanhua will help contribute to that amount. ・Provides an extra bit of damage output when you don't need heals from Verina.
Mortefi Alternative	・If you don't need the extra Glacio Metaphors, then go for Mortefi over Sanhua since his Ultimate is much stronger than hers.

Regular Metaphors

Metaphor	Explanation
+Shield Metaphors	For maximum survivability, you'll want to stack as many ways to gain shields as possible. You'll also be prioritizing Glacio Metaphors anyway to activate Bell-Borne Geochelone's abilities.
Compound Gear	Unless you're using someone who has innate healing, you'll be reliant on your Metaphors and Verina for HP sustain. Take a Compound Gear when you can so that you'll be able to rapidly fill up on Concerto Energy and use Verina's Ult when needed.
Scorching Sun in the Forest	Once you have enough defensive and utility Metaphors. You'll want to start gathering Fusion Metaphors that increase your DPS. Scorching Sun in the Forest is one of the best choices for this because of how strong the Meteor is, but you can go for anything that increases your damage output.

Playing into Bell-Borne Geochelone's defensive mastery, you'll want Glacio Metaphors that give you shields, as well as buffs and effects while a shield is up. A good amount of the Glacio Metaphors also synergize with your Resonance Skill and Liberation, so you'll also want Electro Metaphors that reduce the cooldowns of those two abilities.

Inferno Rider Has Insane Damage Output

Since Inferno Rider needs a lot of Fusion Metaphors, your character's damage output will skyrocket the more of them you get. When paired with characters with multiple hits and high attack speeds, you can easily decimate any enemy or boss that you face.

Just be careful since Inferno Rider is more of a glass cannon Echo, and you'll be extremely squishy if you don't have any Glacio Metaphors.

Bell-Borne Geochelone Gives Near Infinite Survivability

The main draw of Bell-Borne Geochelone is that you'll get multiple ways to gain shields, making you nearly impossible to take down when combined with its freezing effect at higher ability levels.

Bell-Borne also provides strong damage output when stacked with Glacio Metaphors, but it doesn't match the DPS of Inferno Rider or Crownless builds.

Crownless Provides a Strong Mix of Offense and Defense

Crownless lends itself to a mixture of both playstyles. Once you're in the Crownless state, you will deal massive amounts of damage while also taking next to no damage since your chosen Resonator isn't the one tanking the hits.

The main downside, however, is that you're extremely reliant on getting Crown Power to Shapeshift into Crownless, and you're not as strong as the other Echo builds while you're using your selected Resonator.
