Complete Fishing Requests
The best and fastest way to earn Riccioli Fishery Coins is by completing Fishing Requests. They come in three types: Premium, Priority, and Common.
The Fishery Coins earned from completing them will vary depending on what fish is being requested, though they will typically reward more Fishery Coins than selling fish to Planck, so take them on whenever possible for extra earnings!
Premium Is Unlocked After Finishing Priority
There is only one Premium request per day, and you can only unlock it once you finish all 17 Priority requests. Additionally, Priority requests are usually quest-locked so be sure to do the event quests!
Upgrade Rover's Fame Across the Sea
You can earn more Fishery Coins through requests once you upgrade Rover's second ability, namely Fame Across the Sea! This needs one Rinascita Fishing Guidebook: Chapter Two per upgrade.
Catch and Sell Fishes to Planck
Fishing is the fastest and most efficient way to earn Riccioli Fishery Coins since fishes are a limitless resource that you can repeatedly catch and sell. To do this, head to the docks and click Dock Shop. Afterwards, select the fish icon on the left, and click sell all.
Use Quick Sale
You can also get Fishery Coins while sailing by using the Quick Sale feature. All you have to do is fill up the dashed-area with the extra fishes you have!
Thanks to the extra space in the cargo, you can get more fishes on the way back to get more Fishery Coins!
How to Arrange Cargo while Fishing
Upgrade Rover's Riccioli Islands Biology
You can earn more Fishery Coins whenever you sell fishes once you upgrade Rover's first ability, namely the Riccioli Islands Biology! This needs one Rinascita Fishing Guidebook: Chapter One per upgrade.
Get Rachel Ability Upgrades

You could also unlock and upgrade some of Rachel's Fishing abilities as they can immensely help in farming fishes faster. These abilities are the Trawl, Wonder Bubble, Sweet Puff Tube, and Bait. It's important to note that all of them need a specific Key Fishing Ability before you can unlock them.
Best Fishing Ability to Unlock First
Sell Legendary Fishes
Legendary Fishes can easily sell for around 8,000 Fishery Coins! You can find them by fishing in golden fishing spots. However, most of these fishing spots will need Rachel's Oceanic Hull ability upgrade to be unlocked!
Complete Event Quests
Another way to get Riccioli Fishery Coins is by completing Event Quests. They are the orange-marked quests that you can easily access in the quest page!
What are Riccioli Fishery Coins?
Used to Upgrade Rachel, the Gondola
Fishery Coins are crucial in upgrading Rachel's fishing abilities. This is because the more you upgrade them, the more fishing spots you can access!
Best Fishing Ability to Unlock First
Used to Buy Materials from Planck
You can also use your Fishery Coins to buy materials from Planck. Important materials include, the Mysterious Scripture, and the Rinascita Fishing Guidebook as they can upgrade Rover and Phoebe's abilities! The Sweet Puff can also clear out rubble in the sea, which makes the fishing process easier!
Used to Repair the Pequod
Throughout the Old Man and the Whale event, you have to give Queeqeg the materials he needs to fix and upgrade the Pequod in Riccioli Island. These include a huge sum of Fishery Coins!
