Best Character Build

Character and Echo Combination

Camellya	Inferno Rider

Camellya and Inferno Rider synergize well together, due to the latter's abilities activating more often because of the former's high hit count on certain attacks. This will lead to a higher damage output from Inferno Rider.

Character Upgrades

You will always have 1 Character Upgrade every run, and you can get more through Memory of Training.

To start, pick up Bud for the Taking to shred Enemy Havoc RES and reduce the stamina consumption of Blazing Waltz. Then, get Cycle of Blossom when it appears to increase Budding Mode's uptime.

If you find survival or interruptions an issue, Greenhouse's Caress can help by giving Camellya some healing and interruption resistance.

Best Metaphors

Concerto Characters

Character	Explanation
Mortefi	Mortefi is a great Concerto Metaphor to pick up for more damage, as his Resonance Liberation plays well with Camellya's Basic Attack spam.
Verina	For survival, Verina is one of the best Concerto Metaphors to pick up. She can continuously heal Camellya through her Resonance Liberation.
Baizhi	Baizhi is a weaker, but still important healing source should Verina not be available. Instead of continuous healing, Baizhi performs a large burst heal instead.

Regular Metaphors

Metaphor	Explanation
Any Fusion Metaphors	Camellya plays well with Fusion Metaphors, especially the Basic Attack focused ones, or the ones that stack based on hit count. These are also needed to power up Inferno Rider.
Any Glacio Metaphors	These are taken mainly to further strengthen Inferno Rider, but can help with Camellya's defenses somewhat.
Nameplate of a Nameless One	This Metaphor provides a massive increase to Basic Attack DMG, which is the crux of Camellya's entire kit. Getting this will improve her damage significantly.

You can at least get 2 Tokens every run.

Break Shining Pool Floaters

In the new stage maps introduced in Version 1.2, there are shining pool floaters that looks suspiciously different than the other items in the stage. When you see one, always break these shiny floaters because they would reward you with Dream Fragments!

Use Camellya's Blazing Waltz

Making use of Camellya's Blazing Waltz attack (hold down the Attack Button after Vining Waltz 3 in Blossom Mode) can quickly power up any stacking Metaphors, and can repeatedly trigger Inferno Rider's skills in a short period.

Use this as her main form of dealing damage to ensure maximum uptime on the aforementioned effects.

Experiment With Your Own Playstyle

This is just a general guide that can help most players beat Difficulty 4 of the Depths of Illusive Realm. Since this is a rogue-lite game mode, there may be other builds that are stronger or better suited to your playstyle.

Best Echo for the Recommended Character

Camellya	Inferno Rider ・Good synergy with Blazing Waltz and Inferno Rider's skills ・Getting more Fusion Metaphors will increase Camellya and Inferno Rider's power simultaneously.

Best Echoes for Trial Characters

Characters	Recommended Echo
Verina	Dreamless ・The Dreamless is just too good in this round of Depth of Illusive Realm. Always use Dreamless when you can and collect as much Concerto Energy as possible.
Danjin	Dreamless ・If you want to run Danjin with a fully offensive set-up and you don't mind managing her HP, we suggest going with the Dreamless.
	Bell-Borne Geochelone ・If you're having trouble managing Danjin's HP drain mechanic, a safer bet would be the Bell-Borne Geochelone.

If the recommended Echoes above did not show up in your run, simply quit the challenge and start another run of Difficulty 4. Repeat this proccess until the suggested Echo appears.
