Dropped by Enemies in Windhill Shores and Daybreak Shore

Salt has a chance to drop from enemies found in the Windhill Shores (Lvl. 4~7) and Daybreak Shore (Lvl. 38~40) coastal regions. Once you've outleveled the enemies in these areas, you can return and farm them for Salt drops.

Note: The drop rate for Salt is low and it will take you a while to farm any reasonable amount for cooking. This means it is important to outlevel the enemies in these regions if you want to farm Salt quickly and efficiently.
