Blacktail Snook is obtained by Fishing in Salt Water areas. Go to the areas listed above and head toward the ocean to start fishing for Blacktail Snook.
Once you get your first Bamboo Fishing Rod during the Chapter 3 Appendix quest, Adventures of the Expedition, you'll be able to start Fishing provided you have enough Bait to do so.

| The Blacktail Snook has a silvery body with a dark brown line along the sides that extends to the tail. The dorsal fin is gray and darkens toward the tip. The other fins are transparent or yellowish, and the caudal fin is black throughout but lighter at the tip and in the middle. It is mostly found in the oceans in warmer climates. | |||
