None of the dialogue choices will affect the outcome of the quest. You will receive the same EXP, Gil, and Renown, as well as the Goblin Coin regardless of how you reply to the assistant.

Search the area near Drake's Fang for the baker's assistant.
The baker had a feeling that his assistant went somewhere near Drake's Fang. Fast travel to The Jaw obelisk and head north.

You can find the assistant by a cliff on the southwest part of the marked area. Talk to him and choose any of the dialogue options to continue.

Speak with Matej.
Return to Matej in Dalimil to complete the quest.
