How to Respec Abilities

Hold Down the Touchpad to Reset All Abilities

In the Abilities menu, hold down the Touchpad to reset all abilities. A prompt will show to confirm your choice, and it will show how much ability points you will get back. Resetting an ability will return it to its locked form, regardless of whether it was upgraded or mastered. Use the ability points you get back to the other abilities you want to learn.

There are some abilities that cannot be unlearned since you received it as part of the story. You can only respec abilities you've learned by purchasing them with ability points.

Hold Square For Resetting Individual Abilities

Reset specific abilities individually by hovering on the ability and hold down the Square button. This is so you won't have to unlearn each and every skill you've learned or mastered.
