Description: Kupka is defeated—but before Clive can land the finishing blow, the downed Dominant is spirited away by a mysterious man from Waloed. Our heroes return to the hideaway to try to make sense of these strange developments.

How to Unlock

FINAL FANTASY 16 - Bolts from the Blue Unlock
Bolts from the Blue starts after fighting Hugo Kupka during the Capital Punishment quest and teleporting back to the Hideaway. Make preparations during this quest, as there will be hard fights on the following quests!

Quest Objectives

Speak with Otto
Go to and talk to him. Mid will appear during your conversation with him and will request to assist her with something.

Speak with Mid
Follow Mid to the western part of the Hideaway, and talk to her. She wants to build a workshop, but she's missing a few materials and a carpenter.

Complete Getting to Work (Subquest)
Helping Mid with her workshop will trigger the Getting to Work subquest. Complete all her requests and report to her once everything is okay!

Visit the Infirmary
Visit Jill at the infirmary and check her condition as you wait for Mid to finish her workshop. It seems like Jill won't be joining you in the next mission as she still needs rest.

Speak with Gav in the shelves room
Check Torgal next and find out what caused his transformation during the Capital Punishment quest. You can find him in the library with Harpocrates and Gav.

Mid will show up then and tell you that the workshop is complete.

Speak with Vivian
Speak with Vivian and see if she has information on Kupka's whereabouts after checking out the workshop. You can find her at her usual spot in the map room.

Speak with Byron
Byron, Clive's uncle, visited the Hideaway during your talk with Vivian. Meet him at the dock and speak with him.

He will join the strategy meeting and even join you on the next mission.

Speak again with Byron
Let Byron know once you're ready. You can find him downstairs, near the lift.

Make for the Velkroy Desert
The Velkroy Desert is your next stop and the starting point in infiltrating the Dhalmekian Republic. Teleport there and start the next quest, Riddle of the Sands!

Getting to Work Walkthrough

# Getting to Work Objectives

Submit the list of materials to Charon
Mid has a few things she wants from Charon. Give her the list, and she will personally deliver it to Mid after some time.

Give Supply Kit to Blackthorne
Mid also wants some things crafted for her workshop. Look for Blackthorne at the forge and submit a Supply Kit.

Speak with Bardolph on the pier
As for the carpenter, check in with Bardolph on the pier. Unfortunately, he won't be able to do the job as he needed to do repairs for the Hideaway.

Go to Martha's Rest and speak with Martha
Visit Martha in Martha's Rest and see if her carpenter, Bernard, can do the job instead. However, he's out near the ruins of Cressida to do something.

Find Bernard near the ruins of Cressida
Head north from Martha's Rest, then go east to the ruins to see Bernard. You can find him standing near a short bridge.

Slay Enemies
Bernard is willing to help, but wants to visit her parents' grave first near their house. Slay the enemies to make it safe for him.

Return to the Hideaway and report to Mid
Return to the Hideaway after helping Bernard. Report to Mid that a new carpenter is on the way.
