FF16 has an auto-save system, and it gets triggered after cutscenes. You'll see the saving animation at the top right corner of the screen.
Youll be able to load the auto-save file through the Save menu. Also, when you select Continue in the game's Main Menu screen, the game will load the latest auto-save file. The game will only register a total of 10 auto-saves close to your current progress.
