Description: Clive's spar with the Dominant of Wind not only ends in victory, but sees him wrest away her Eikon's very essence and claim it for his own. But before he or Cid can make heads or tails of this curious turn of events, an explosion rocks the caer, prompting a hurried evacuation.

How to Unlock

FINAL FANTASY 16 - Beat Benedikta
You can start Wings of Change after besting Benedikta during the Headwind quest. You will start this quest at Caer Norvent Glorieuse Gate, together with Torgal and Cid.

Quest Objectives

# Wings of Change Objectives
1a
Head north from starting area
Head north as soon as the quest start. You will find a few soldiers on the way. Defeat them or you can just run past them!

You will see more enemies in the forest. If you need more EXP or resources, you can take them out before going to the quest marker!

Slay the imperial reinforcements
Imperial soldiers and their tamed Imperial War Aevis are holding the bridge to the north. Kill them all to open up the bridge.
How to Beat Imperial War Aevis

Continue north
Continue going north until you reach the bridge gate. You'll eventually meet up with Gav once you get there.
4a
Make for the Eye of the Tempest
It seems like Benedikta's struggling caused a disaster. Stop her and keep moving north until you reach the Eye of the Tempest.

Defeat Wind Elementals (Optional)
There will be tons of Wind Elementals roaming around in The Dragon's Aery. You can choose to fight them to get extra EXP and resources, or run from them and move on with the story.

Enter the Vortex
You can enter the Vortex as soon as you reach the Eye of the Tempest. You are free to go back to other settlements or towns first before heading in!

How to Beat Imperial War Aevis

FINAL FANTASY 16 - How to Beat Imperial War Aevis
The Imperial War Aevis is a dragon tamed by the Imperial Forces. Its speed and attack moves are similar to your average Dragon Aevis, but it can deal more damage and has a higher health than them.

Tips for Beating

  • Time your dodges and go for a counter
  • Perform combos using Phoenix and Garuda
  • Keep staggering it until it dies

How to Beat Wind Elementals

FINAL FANTASY 16 - How to Beat Wind Elementals
The Wind Elementals are pretty much the same as Chirada and Suparna, but not as tough as them. You can beat them the same way you did to Chirada and Suparna, but this time you have your new Eikon powers at your disposal!
