How to Unlock

FINAL FANTASY 16 - Across the Narrow Unlock

Across the Narrow starts after spending the night in the Shadow Coast and returning to the Hideaway during the Through the Maelstrom quest. There won't be any battle on this quest, so use this chance to replenish your items and buy or craft better gear while you're still at the Hideaway!

Visit the Infirmary
Head to the infirmary and check what happened to Dion, the former Dominant of Bahamut. He seems to have escaped and returned to his homeland.

Speak with Vivian
After chatting with Joshua and Karja at the infirmary, head to the map room and speak with Vivian. You will find her talking to Mid.

The three of you will plan your next move during the cutscene.

Visit the shelves
Mid will go and gather the members at the Ale Hall, while you're tasked on getting Joshua. Visit the shelves where you can find Joshua and Harpocrates talking to each other.

Visit the Ale Hall, just outside the shelves, then discuss the plan with everyone.
