How to Craft and Upgrade Gear

Craft and Upgrade Gear at The Blacksmith

Blackthorne and the Black Hammer can be found in the game's central hub area, Cid's Hideaway, which is unlocked after progressing through the main quests and finishing the quest A Chance Encounter.

Talk to Blackthorne and select the Forge dialogue option to bring up the Blacksmith menu. Under the Craft tab, select the desired equipment, make sure that you have enough materials, then hold the Craft button to craft the equipment.

You can also upgrade your equipment with the blacksmith under the Reinforce tab of the Blacksmith menu.

Under this tab, select the equipment you want to upgrade, make sure that you have enough materials, then hold the Reinforce buttton to upgrade the equipment.
