How to Unlock Ifrit

Complete Buried Memories

Ifrit can be acquired by completing the Buried Memories main quest. However, the Eikon's abilities in the Ability tree will only be available for Clive to upgrade and use at the start of the next main quest, The Meaning of Life.

Ifrit grants Clive 3 total Abilities that he can learn and use in combat. In order to learn and master all of Ifrit's Abilities, it would require the player to rack up a total of 5,345 Abilitiy Points.

Be sure to farm for AP by equipping The Wages of Warcraft accessory and beating Bluebirds to quickly earn AP and unlock all of Ifrit's Abilities!

Grants Clive Fire-Based Skills

Ifrit will be able to unlock more powerful Fire-based attacks by gaining Ability Points from defeated enemies!

Clive will be able to access Ifrit's Fire-based skill tree throughout the rest of the game once players unlock the Eikon.

Unlock Limit Break With Ifrit

Acquiring Ifrit also unlocks Limit Break Ability and the Limit Break gauges. Unleashing this power in battle grants Clive multiple buffs that enhances both his offensive and defensive capabilities.

How to Use Ifrit

Equip Ifrit's Eikonic Abilities

After acquiring Ifrit, this Eikon's abilities will be unlocked in the Abilities menu and be available for upgrade. You can then equip them to Clive and use his attacks in combat.

Play as Ifrit in Certain Fights

Clive can call upon Ifrit in certain points of the story where players assume control of the Eikon in battle. One such battles is a brawl against Garuda, where you can attack with punches and fireballs, as well as lunge in a fiery dash to close gaps.

Ifrit Connections to Joshua and Clive

Inherited by Clive as the Second Eikon of Fire

Ifrit is the second Eikon of Fire that is inherited by Clive. In the world of Valisthea it is known that there is only one Eikon that represents each element, with Phoenix, inherited by Joshua, representing the element of fire. This makes Ifrit an unrecorded Eikon and the second Eikon of Fire.
