Stay Behind Thanatos During Spirits Without

Thanatos's Spirits Without is a special attack where it fires a huge laser beam in front of it for a few seconds. Being hit by this attack is deadly, so make sure to stay behind Thanatos when it does this attack.

Thanatos will be vulnerable for a while during this attack. Take advantage of this by unleashing your abilities on its back during this. Note that it will still move and turn around so you still have to be mindful to keep moving to stay behind it.

Be Wary of the Rush Attack at the End of Destrudo

During Destrudo, Thanatos will jump a bunch of times, creating energy rings that grow outward whenever Thanatos hits the ground. Additionally, random glowing spots that explode moments after will appear throughout the battlefield. Focus on dodging the energy rings while running around to avoid the explosions.

Be warned though that after Destrudo ends, Thanatos will do a fast rush attack towards your position! Keep watch on its main body and be ready to dodge or block the rush attack.

Keep Your Distance When it Readies a Charge Punch

Look out for when Thanatos charges up a punch, since this means that it will create an explosion around it! Run away or prepare to dodge when you see it pulling back its arm for a punch towards the ground.
