Final Fantasy 16 - Hunt Board Guide and All Hunt Locations

The Hunt Board in Final Fantasy 16 (FF16) provides hunt locations for 32 powerful monsters known as Notorious Marks. Read on for a list of all 32 hunt locations, how to unlock the Hunt Board, rewards, and trophies for completing hunts!

List of Contents

Hunt Locations Interactive Map

The Interactive Map both shows the location of key points on the map, and doubles as a collectible checker.

  1. Click an icon on the right side to show all the pins of a specific type, or click the magnifying glass button to search for a specific pin by name.
  2. Click a pin on the map to see its name and description, and a relevant picture or video if available.
  3. From here, click Mark as Discovered to indicate that you've gotten a collectible already. This will change its icon on the map to show that it has been collected.
  4. To undo this, click on the same pin and click Restore to Undiscovered.

Name Button.png Show Names
This button reveals the Name of every icon currently shown.
Full Button.png Fullscreen
This button will change the map display to fill the screen.
Search Button.png Search Mode Toggle
This button will display a searchbar which you can use to search for an individual pin by its name.
Icon Mode Button.png Icon Mode Toggle
In Search Mode, this button will toggle you back to Icon Mode, removing the search bar and displaying the icons again.

The Hunt Board is unlocked after defeating the first Notorious Mark, Ahriman. You can't miss Ahriman, since its found in the path of the main story, in Sorrowise during Release, a subquest of The Gathering Storm main quest.

Talk to Otto to View Available Hunts

FF16 - Hunt Board Info

In FF16, you'll be able to find quests for hunting monsters from the Hunt Board, supervised by the Moogle, Otto.

Simply talk to Otto beside the Hunt Board to view the hunt marks. There's no option to accept quests; just view the information from the Hunt Board, then find the enemy yourself in the map.

FINAL FANTASY 16 - Notorious Mark Hunt Rewards

You get a good amount of gil, renown, EXP, and ability points for defeating each Hunt! Hunting is a more efficient way of farming all of these than completing something like Side Quests since each hunt rewards you with all 4, unlike Side Quests which can't at times not provide AP or gil.

Completing all 32 Hunt Board quests will net you with the Hunter, Hunted Silver trophy.

Unlock Think, Mark! Trophy After Hunting 10 Notorious Marks

Think, Mark! Bronze Trophy
FF16 - Silver Trophy Defeat 10 notorious marks.

Successfully hunting 10 Notorious Marks will give the Think, Mark! Bronze trophy.

Basically all the hunts that say you unlock them "after completing ___" should say "after starting" that same quest. Also Gizmaluk requires you do the side quest that takes place in garrick.

just to clarify, its not Otto that gives the rewards or the Hunts, Otto is the Tavernkeeper, the Moogle is 'Nektar' and you get the rewards from the hunt as soon as the hunt is killed
