Steps to Unlock Hunt Board
Progress to 22nd main quest The Gathering Storm While completing its subquest Release, defeat Ahriman. Return to the Hideaway and talk to Gav to unlock the Hunt Board.

How to Beat Ahriman and Rewards

You encounter Ahriman during the sub-quest Release

The Hunt Board is unlocked after defeating the first Notorious Mark, Ahriman. You can't miss Ahriman, since its found in the path of the main story, in Sorrowise during Release, a subquest of The Gathering Storm main quest.

Talk to Otto to View Available Hunts

In FF16, you'll be able to find quests for hunting monsters from the Hunt Board, supervised by the Moogle, Otto.

Simply talk to Otto beside the Hunt Board to view the hunt marks. There's no option to accept quests; just view the information from the Hunt Board, then find the enemy yourself in the map.

Gil, Renown, EXP, and AP

You get a good amount of gil, renown, EXP, and ability points for defeating each Hunt! Hunting is a more efficient way of farming all of these than completing something like Side Quests since each hunt rewards you with all 4, unlike Side Quests which can't at times not provide AP or gil.

Hunter, Hunted Silver Trophy
	Clear the Hunt Board.

Completing all 32 Hunt Board quests will net you with the Hunter, Hunted Silver trophy.

Unlock Think, Mark! Trophy After Hunting 10 Notorious Marks

Think, Mark! Bronze Trophy
	Defeat 10 notorious marks.

Successfully hunting 10 Notorious Marks will give the Think, Mark! Bronze trophy.
