Shiva Summon Guide and How to Unlock

How to Unlock Shiva

Unlocked During Through the Maelstrom

You can get Shiva during the Through the Maelstrom quest. This will also unlock the Eikon's abilities in the Ability tree, and will be available for Clive to use and upgrade.

Ice Age	Attack: Stagger: Unleash a river of icicles that greatly knocks back any enemies it strikes. Hold button to increase potency.	15s
Mesmerize	Attack: Stagger: Launch multiple shards of ice that, upon striking lighter enemies, draw them toward Clive. Can be used in midair.	12s
Cold Snap	Attack: Stagger: Slide effortlessly across the ground in any direction. Attacking with □ while sliding can temporarily freeze enemies.	N/A

Shiva grants Clive 5 total Abilities that he can learn and use in combat. In order to learn and master all of Shiva's Abilities, it would require the player to rack up a total of 16,800 Abilitiy Points.

Be sure to farm for AP by equipping The Wages of Warcraft accessory and beating Bluebirds to quickly earn AP and unlock all of Shiva's Abilities!

How to Use Shiva

Equip Shiva's Eikonic Abilities

Since Clive isn't Shiva's Dominant, he will not be able to transform into Shiva but instead gain access to her Ice-based attacks after obtaining her essence.

After acquiring Shiva, this Eikon's abilities will be unlocked in the Abilities menu and be available for upgrade. You can then equip them to Clive and use her attacks in combat.

Shiva Connections to Jill

Inherited by Jill Warrick

Shiva is the Eikon of Ice inherited by the dominant, Jill, from the Grand Duchy of Rosia. Formerly from the northern territories she was taken from her home to Rosia and was raised along side Clive and Joshua.

Gameplay shown on livestreams and trailers show Clive using Shiva's Ice abilities which could mean he inherits it later on in the story.

Shiva Unlockable Trophies

Cold-blooded

Cold-blooded Bronze Trophy
	Simultaneously defeat three or more enemies frozen using Frostbite, Permafrost, or Diamond Dust (excluding battles in Hall of Virtue).

The Cold-blooded trophy achievement requires you to freeze at least three enemies with Cold Snap and defeat them with simultaneously with Diamond Dust, Frostbite, or Permafrost.

The best way to do this is to perfectly dodge an attack with Cold Snap to execute Permafrost, then use Diamond Dust to deal massive damage to the frozen enemies.
