Slay the beasts drawn to the bait.
After talking to Fredric, head about 55y east to Rhiannon's Ride. You'll encounter a pack of Starving Wolves who you'll have to defeat.

FF16 Beast Against Beast - Brice Location
Speak with Brice.
After defeating the wolves, head further east (about 85y) to The Broken Hilt, where you can find Brice. Talk to him to complete the quest.
