Observe and Evade Basic Attacks

The Republican War Panther is a fairly simple boss to fight as its basic attacks consists of leaping, swiping its paws at you, or performing 360 degree spin attacks. You can easily tell when it'll attack as it'll lift its paws up before hitting you.

Additionally, it'll make a small leap elsewhere before pouncing at you so ready up your Dodge Button when you see that to execute a well-timed precision dodge.

Dodge Twice If it Uses Savage, Then Counterattack

After staggering it for the first time, it'll use Savage in which it'll pounce at you twice, removing a small amount of HP from you. Take note that you should only launch a counterattack after the second time it pounces at you!

Make Use of Ramuh's Abilities

At this point of the story, you'll have Ramuh unlocked, so this is the best time test out this Eikon's abilities by mashing them at the panther.

Use Thunderstorm to call on a powerful thunderstorm if the boss leaps away from you, or the Pile Drive AoE ability to electrify your surroundings if it encircles behind you.

The panther will often walk and circle around the arena before leaping at you, use this time to launch your ranged attacks while awaiting for it to lunge, then dodge at the very moment it pounces at you.
